I just came back from a fact finding trip to Mississippi. We found Singleton Springs Cemetery at Senatobi in Tate county Mississippi. Here is the history if it helps someone. James Samuel Singleton born 1797 in Va. then to Pike co. Ga. and I think a little in Tenn.He landed in Missippi where his clan got so big it had it's own community. One of the sons was Charles w. one was Samuel Jr. I have the others . The kids deeded by quit claim all their rights to the property to the Charles w. and I heard they moved to Texas in the 1870's. Lots of info there if this is your Singletons.
