Can anyone help me with this puzzle? My grandmother, Ida Singleton McKenzie was a daughter of Thomas Richard Singleton 1882-1939 and Ida Hucks Singleton 1879-1956. Some of the family say that Thomas Rothmahler Singleton 1850-1919 and Hannah Cribb Singleton 1854 were her grandparents. On "Tom's" death certificate, DHEC says "Sam" and a Miss Young were her grandparents. I know that T.R. and Hanna raised Thos. R. and they are buried in the same Singleton family plot beside eath other. I have been told that "Sam" was a brother to T.R. and left the country and no one ever heard from him again. I have not been able to find any information on "Sam" at all.
And what happened to Miss Young who married Sam, who was her family? If you can help me< I would love to hear from you, contact me at: ajernigan@sccc.tv >>>This is my line as I know it:
