Hello all. I have been trying to find information on Joseph as well, but also trying to find information on a offspring of J Singletary that appears on the McLennan County Texas census. He is in household with 4 Cook stepsons and and 2 daughters his wife J.E. is how she is listed. The information Rose gave me is that they were married in Montague County she believed somewhere around 1867 and for 9 years he and his new wife can't be found. I have tried to find them in 1870 census and as of yet nothing. On the 1880 census he is a farmer age 55 which the 1836 birthdate I have would be close if not perfect.
The information she has on the former Mrs Cook has her married to William Cook. She has been searching for Marriage license but not found any yet. I know the Courthouse burned there but don't remember at the moment what years.Iknow there was more than once it burned. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
