Hello Mandy,

Thanks for your message. I'm not sure that I found the correct Joseph Singer for my ggrandfather, only that my ggrandfather was born somewhere in what was known as Russian Poland. I know that my grandmother born in Manchester had at least one brother. Do you know the names of William's siblings? Also, was the family Jewish? I don't think my branch of the Singer family was very prosperous at least when my grandmother was born in 1875. Four females immigrated to Boston,Massachusetts in 1880. Do you live in the UK?
