I am Nina van Dort, one of the organizers of this first ever Ceylon Dutch Burgher Exhibition scheduled to be held in Amsterdam in November 2014 to commemorate the evolution of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) and its legacy that followed in the Dutch Burgher diaspora. My team members and I are currently travelling the world, collecting family histories, photographs and other memorabilia.
"The aim of this quest is to collect Old Ceylon Dutch Burgher Photography & Relics of the past. The committee will mark each image presented with a *water mark Logo of our Exhibition. The Images will be used twice only. We are also very interested in Family emblems.

We hope you will also be enthused to support the cause to showcase our origins. Also, please pass on the word to other Burghers in Australia ,Canada or UK , who may be interested and in a position to contribute valuable family history pieces to the mosaic of our past.
