Trying to find more information on my husband's maternal family. His mother, Serepah Syed Hashim, was born in Singapore in 1932. Her father's name was Bin Syed Ali Syed Hashim I do not have her mother's name. My husband has an older half-sister, also born in Singapore, named Faridah. My mother-in-law (then unmarried) came over to England with my husbands father (who was in the RAF) and my husband, then aged nearly 2, on 10th October 1958 and was subsequently married in England. Faridah remained with her maternal grandparents in Singapore.
Any help would be much appreciated.
