I am trying to trace part of my family history up until @ the 1930's. My mother lived on her grandmother's plantations on Bukit Timah Rd, Singapore. Her grandmother's name was Celestine LaSalle by her second marriage - she was formerly the widow of James Willock, born in Rangoon. She and her second husband owned La Salle's rubber plantations on Bukit Timah Road . The family left Singapore in the 1930's for London. I have more info but too much to post - if anyone may be able to help please mail me. Many thanks, Sue Healy.
