Hello, Catherine

You mentioned John Francis Keay on your message on the Singapore Genealogy Forum but I wasn't sure if you were a relative or just happening to mention seeing his name? I know a little about him in the Penang Volunteers and as a POW. He was well-known as a rugby player. He died in June 1951. Get in touch if you would like information on him.
Regarding the ST article I'm sure Singapore National Library Reference Point would provide you with a copy.

best wishes

Jonathan Moffatt
