I saw your enquiry on the Singapore Genealogy Website. In my British Malayans data I have:
BUXTON C.A. [Cuthbert Arthur] To Malaya 1913. Planter Manager, Bukit Tuggu Estate, Beranang [Selangor] Rubber
Plantations Ltd, Bangi, Selangor [1935 Directory] then Bernang Rubber Plantation Ltd, Klang [1940 Directory].
Married Eleanor Mary Rawson 1911 Penang. Aged 60 in 1942. Eleanor Mary and children incl. son Cuthbert Edgar
evacuated to Kent, UK. Cuthbert a L/Cpl, Ulu Company, Selangor LDC. Changi and Sime Rd internee. Repatriated
to Hyde but returned to Malaya 1946. Retired to Hotel Rhodesia, Folkestone. Wife died 13.1.46 Southsea. Married
Eleanor Gladys Hayes 1948. Died c.1950.
In the 1935 Directory there is also an H.P. Buxton who was a Forest Officer in Sarawak.
