Thomas George Buxton (1874-?) -Semarang, Java
Posted by: Peter Buxton (ID *****9064) Date: March 30, 2008 at 04:58:32

I am looking for information on any members of this family:

Thomas George Buxton (also called George Thomas) b. 1874 in Singapore and moved to Semarang. He became a teacher of English at a local Chinese school. He died abt. 1938 most probably in Semarang. Married a lady called Soetji and had one son John Charles Buxton (1921-1954)(also called Johan). Soetji was from a Turkish/Javanese family.

I would be grateful for any information.

Thanks
Peter
