Jackson Millar - Superintendent of Singapore Docks in 1870's

I am trying to find out any information about my great grandfather, Jackson Millar, who was based at Singapore Docks in the 1870's.

He was originally from Airdrie in Scotland and eventually moved back there in the 1890's. He was a marine engineer and also built bridges for the maharajahs in the Kuala Lumpur area.

If anyone has any connections to him I would love to speak to them

Thank you
