Hi Steph

Your great grandparents'names are not, to my knowledge, connected with the D'Almeidas of Singapore. Their lineage is Portuguese from (Sir) Jose b 1784. There are two sources which are more or less mandatory for the period:
An Anecdotal History of Singapore, Fraser Neave, Singapore 1902 and 100 Years of Singapore, John Murray, London 1921. If Mr Didier and his wife are not listed, try the National Archives in Singapore - either on line or in person.

Best wishes
Stephen
