My great grandfather JOHN JUSTICE BATCHELOR, a merchant seaman originally from Scotland, lived in Singapore and had 2 marriages (there). His first wife was ROBINA DUNCAN who died there. She had 4 children - Elizabeth, Robina, James, and John Justice. His second marriage was to LAURESTINA GURNEY who had 2 children - Jack Rhoo and Zaida. Jack Rhoo was my maternal grandfather. John Justice Batchelor(1) was buried in the Protestant cemetery in Bangkok on 25 Jun 1912. He died aged about 43. I have little information of dates etc. relating to Singapore as I have no access to their records.
