The actor Peter Madden was born in Kuala Lumpur about 1905. You can look him up on google. My great aunt Lucy Madden was born in Singapore in 1881. I know there is a connection between the two of them but I have so far been unable to prove it. I believe that Peter was Lucy's nephew. I am assuming that the Madden's were somehow connected with the British foreign Service in Malaya but I have no evidence for this either
I also have a relative (Noel Paul) who was killed in 1942 on a hospital ship sunk by the Japanese just off Malaya. Do you know the name of the ship that Molly Madden was on?
