Seah Family

Dear Friends,

I am researching on the family of a lonely tomb at MacRitchie's reservoir in Singapore. The tomb sits at the edge of the reservoir and the inscriptions indicate that the tomb belongs to a woman with the maiden name of Fan and her husband's name is Seah. The woman died in 1876 and judging from the size of the tomb, the family was of some affluence. I strongly suspect that the owner of the tomb could be related to Singapore's pioneer merchant Mr. Seah Eu Chin. Anyone with information please e-mail me at voigtlander@gmail.com

Regards,
Peter Chou
