Hello, Darren. I took a look today at the 1940 Directory of Malaya and found listed an H.C. DeWind printed without the spacing. He was a Surveyor for Fogden, Brisbane & Co.Ltd
[Civil Engineers],Bukit Timah Rd, Singapore. He was not, according to my information, a POW or civilian internee during the Japanese occupation of Singapore/Malaya. Might just be a relative?
