You could write to 3 places in Singapore who may be able to help you
1> Straits Times national newspaper ( in case there was an obit)
2> Cathedral of the Good Shepherd the Roman catholic Cathedral in Singapore in case they performed the funeral
3>The British European Association Singapore and see if anyone there can help you from within Singapore
Lastly if she was married to a British militray person the BFPO ( British Forces Postinged Overseas) may be able to help you, they have a social services arm. Contact addresses should all be on the net. The British Forces did not pull out of Singapore until 1971. Also there is an American Club there and they may be able to check their records and see if they know anything about her death. Do Osbourne Jones & Co still exist in Spore? Lastly the British High Commissionin Singapore may be able to help. Her death may have been registered with the High Commission in Singapore in which case it will be on a record at the Family Records Centre Middleton Place London. Hope this helps
