SEOW family in Singapore, Malaya, Xiamen/Amoy

Xiao, SEOW, SIOW, HSIAO, SIEW

My great great grandfather came from AMOY / XIAMEN in China and arrived in Malaya in Malacca, so I am told. From there there was a migration down South to Johore and eventually Singapore where they settled.

My great great grandfather was SEOW Chye Watt - He had a brother. He also had two sons, SEOW Poh Leng and SEOW Poh Kooi.

My great grandfather was SEOW Poh Leng (there is an award named after him at one of the schools in Singapore). SEOW Poh Leng married twice. He first married TAN Lilian Luck Neo and then upon her demise, he married her niece, TAN Polly Poh Li. Lilian bore him two girls and a boy - Amy, Betty and Duke.

The boy, SEOW Duke Sieu Jin, was my grandfather.

If any of this sounds remotely familiar to anyone out there, please contact me.

Thank you.
