Searching for any information about JOSEPH FREDERICK JAMES (born c1881- where unknown);known as "Jimmy James" and prior to internment in Changi worked as the Electrical Engineer at Raffles Hotel. The family lived at 131 Arthur Road, Katong. He and his wife, Esther Ruth, had the following children - Dorothy (b.c1810 Sumatra), Gladys, Rita, Lillian Anne (Billie), Cecil (a Neurosurgeon in Singapore), Bertie and Arthur. One of the girls may have married a Ernest Shelling.
