Dear Michael,

I am hoping that you already know about the Roll of Honour on the Australian War Memorial database (http://www.awm.gov.au/database/roh.asp). You can do a search for names, and your uncles are already included in the roll.

If your uncle is buried at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, he will have died in Thailand. Changi is a prison in Singapore, from whence many groups of PoWs were shipped to Thailand.

Please email me direct for the names of a couple of other researchers who have been working with lists of British soldiers sent to Thailand.

Cheers, Mary Anne
