Pat - I just came across the Sine Family Genealogy Forum so my followup message is somewhat slow. However, I was delighted to see your data, so I will add a bit more data and toss in a question or two. Adam Sine and Catherina Houdeshell are my ancestors, but the dates I show for them are offset from yours. By the way, there is an excellent Houdeshell Forum site which adds more data on Adam Sine; he was the executor of his father-in-laws will, and that document and others provide useful data. Catherina Houdeschell was born about 1775, and it seems that they were married about 1795, and had six children. Therefore, Adam could have been born as you say, in 1750, but if so he would have married at about age 45 (according to my records). Could Adam actually have been born a few years later? You seem to question the data on births of some of the Seyn children;it would fit my data better if he were born more like 1760 or later.

Your message did not list a wife's name for Johannis Wilhelm Seyn; do you know who that was? You said he sailed on the Neptune. Another correspondent in the forum claimed he sailed from Rotterdam. Would that have been his home area, or did he come from Germany? Thanks for your help.
