Robert,
I believe my Richard was the son of Martin. I will review my material and see why I came to that conclusion. My Richard was born in Georgia and the date makes him the possible son of Martin. He named his oldest son Martin. I will review my records and see what else I can find on the connection.

Rebecca Anderson was the daughter of Benjamin Anderson. The Andersons migrated to Texas about 1834/35 and Richard and Rebecca moved with them. I think I read somewhere that Rebecca's brother was wounded at the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836.

Do you still live in Texas? Where? I live in Mineola, TX. Maybe we can get together and compare notes.
