Dear Juday,
I have done research on the family for several years. I know hardly anything about the Sims, though. William Sim(p)son Sellerswas the son of Martha Sellers who was born Martha Morris 1825 in SC, daughter of James Morris and Jane Saultor / Salter and other spellings. I have a foto of Martha Morris Sellers when she was a very old lady. Here are some tidbits from my notes.

From the cousin of my husband -Nellie Sellers
"SUSAN
This James T. Sellers is my grandfather's (Tom Sellers) uncle. He was William Sellers' brother and their parents were Henderson and Martha Sellers. If you look under the 1900 census for Amanda Sellers Papa's Mother they will be listed with Papa's sister and a boy name Walter Poe. Walter was Papa's sister´s son. Papa raised him because she died in an accident. Her name was Nora. Don't know her husband's name."
