Catherine SIMRIL b ca 1764 NC
dau of James SIMRIL II and Violet (BARRY) HENDERSON,m ca 1784 York Dist, SC JESSE DOUGLAS b 1765 Waxhaw Settlement, Camden Dist, SC, d aft 1807. Jesse was in the SC Militia, Gen Marion's Brigade 1782, the son of John DOUGLASS and ???. I have many records of Jesse DOUGLASS of SC that have been in Camden District, some from records filed in Kershaw, York Co, SC, Cheraw, SC.
Sources of records: Alton L. Douglas

There was an implied marriage of ___BERRY to Jesse DOUGLASS in the HUGH BARRY probate 24 Sep 1802,York Co, SC. Alton said that was in error. However in 1800 York Co, SC, there are two Jesse DOUGLAS' by two different spellings.

I am looking for Jesse DOUGLAS b bef 1780 whose wife was Sarah Ann ___ b abt 1790, d 1881 Gilmer Co, GA. Both born SC.

Does anyone have the children of Jesse DOUGLAS and Catherine SIMRIL?

Or any Jesse DOUGLAS with a wife Catherine or Sarah Ann since he could have also been married twice or one being the son of the other?
