Do you have any information on a John Simpkins of Giles/Pulaski Co., VA? He is shown in the 1860 Giles Census living with a John Simpkins, Jr. (wife Margaret). Under John Simpkins, age 65, is listed a William,
age 32, Jane, age 38, Rebecca, age 27, and then two children, Margaret, age 5 and William, age 3. Under John Simpkins, Jr.,age 30, there is Margaret, age 25, the Cary, 7, Henrietta, 5, Mary 3, and Caldonia, 1 mo.
