Mary, et al;
William T. Simpkins (sometimes without the "p," lived in Johnston/Wake Counties during the 1800's. One of his sons (Benjamin Franklin Simpkins) emigrated to GA with family about 1832). I am working with many descendants. If you are one, and would like to join us, let me know.
We haven't a lot of info on William T (of NC), but lots on his line in GA.
