Hello Robert, Ric and I both did the 67 y-dna test it cost a little more but i think it was worth it as it really clears up a lot. I think once we get some Simpkins on board we will be able to clear a lot of missing puzzle pieces out of the way. It seems as if most of us run into walls around the mid 1700's and one of the big problems is the New Jersey census records were burn in D.C. during the war of 1812. But Ric and I feel that maybe(and its a big maybe) if we can find enough Simpkins/Simkins to test many whose people were here before 1800 should have a connection to Nicholas Simpkins (New England 1635) or another line would be John Simpkins (Virginia 1637) Rex Simpkins
