Simontons of WVa/Pa

Hello-First time poster. I have been working on my fathers side of the gene pool for a while, now it is time to do some work on my mothers side. I have quite a few names, some dates and don't know how much of it is right or wrong. Any info on any relatives would be greatly appreciated since I already have a tree up and running. I will give my direct line and anyone that can help me or vice/versa just give me a holler. I will leave the dates and siblings that I have out for now to try and make it easier to make a connection.

My mother was born Nancy Lucille Simonton to Daniel Joseph Simonton (b.Clarksburg WVa) and Helen Lucille Witten. My great grandfather was Warren Raymond Simonton (b.Taylor County WVa), married to Anna Gertrude (Bum Bum)Sabo. My great-great grandfather was Daniel Miller Simonton (b. Rosedale Pa) married to Rebecca Jane Hart. My great-great-great grandfather was James H. Simonton (b. Greene County, Pa) married to Pricilla Ellan Darling. Beyond that I have in order(?) Thomas Simonton, Joshua Simonton and a Cyrus Simonton. I don't know how much is correct beyond James H.

I have names and some dates on siblings of some of the above.

I have read through the Simonton post and it has been hard to pick through and make many of the connections since the posts are not very well organized.

I do remember my grandfather saying that one of his nieces/cousins had down a family history of the Pa/WVa Simontons at West Virginia University as a graduate project but I have not been able to find anything concerning this. Anyone?

My brother is currently in the Air Force and would be willing to try to do some searching before he rotates to the states in a few months if I can make the connection with this line of Simontons in the UK. It appears from what I have looked at overseas that they were in Ireland, Scotland and Eastern Britain.

Thanks
Norman J. Effingham
