RootsWeb has a posting identifying Sicily's parents as Rosanna and John and giving an explanation of her name. They identify them as Hugeonot, say that they arrived here from France by way of Sicily in 1796 and that Sicily was born on shipboard. They speculate that Rosanna died in childbirth. and give the date of birth as Oct. 10th, 1796. My confidence in the information would be higher if they didn't list Julia as her only child who survived to maturity! I'm sure that Robert N. Simonton's many decendants would beg to differ!
