Hi, I am trying to further the research that has been done thus far on my family tree. We have traced it back as far as John Simonton born in 1810. Couln't find the date he died.
He was married to Elizabeth Sweger, born 1812 and they had six children:
Hamilton (born 1/12/38 in Saville Township, PA and married Elizabeth Klinepeter) - this is my great-great-grandfather
Margaret Simonton (b. 1840)
Nancy Simonton (b. 1841)
Eleanor Simonton (b. 1845)
Robert Simonton (b. 1847)
Elizabeth Simonton (b. 1850.)
If anyone happens to have more information on this line of Simontons it would be greatly appreciated. Any information on Simontons from the Central Pennsylvania could prove useful. Thanks a lot.
