Hi C,
Was your John SIMONS still in Vermont during the War of 1812-14? Please let me know if you would like me to transcribe data on a John SIMMONS of Pittsford, Rutland Co., VT, who served at the Battle of Plattsburg, NY.

What are the names of the other 10 children beside John and Ann HARPER SIMONS? Was there a Magdelena or Laney b. 1778 who was my 5 great grandmother? Where in New York [NY] state did they live? Lany SIMONS m. Roswell PHILLIPS 1795 in Greenbush Dutch Reformed Church, Rensselaer Co., NY, not far from Troy and Albany, NY. I have more data. Jan <jnrose@webtv.net>
