I was happy to find your post because I have been working on this line lately. I am possibly related to Frank Schenk, the man Cecilia Simon married after Johann's (presumed) death. Both Johann and Cecilia were born in Unterlangendorf, Austria (today called Dlouha Loucka, in the Czech Republic). Cecilia was born 18 May 1844 to Anton Franz and Cecilia (I haven't been able to decipher her maiden name). Johann was born around 1836 to Johann Simon and Johanna Lux. They were married in Unterlangendorf on 6 February 1865. They emigrated to the U.S. in 1876 on the 'City of Chester', which sailed from Liverpool, England, and arrived in New York on 18 September 1876.
If you have any information about Frank Schenk (born around 1852-54) I would be very interested in having it, especially any details of the marriage. Also, if you have any information about their children, I would be interested in knowing that.
