Not sure if there may be any connection.
I have a Simon ancestor from Wisconsin to Iowa around that time period.**

Killian Peter Simon 1877-1932
m. Katherine Hildmann in Iowa 1910

Father was Conrad Simon** (family originally from Wisconsin)
I have no details on the move to Iowa, sometime around 1870, or any other family names.

At some point Killian also made a move to Oklahoma then back to Washington Co. Wisconsin.
