Balthaser, Friederich, Anna Eva, Adam Simon in Pennsylvania and Maryland
Posted by: Lee Simons (ID *****3988) Date: March 06, 2011 at 20:03:51
  of 1142

Although this is not my line, I was helping someone else and discovered the New York-Maryland connection some had made for this family was incorrect. I felt it was important to share the information for future seekers. The Pennsylvania connection was found in the "Proceedings and Addresses Vol 20" of the Pennsylvania-German Society. It is a free eGoogle book that may be searched online and downloaded as a PDF. I admit I am not certain about which Balthaser was on the ship arrivals or what happened to Henrich. Perhaps the two on the Bawley are not connected with this line at all.

Young left there and was found a mile and a half away, frozen to death. It was thought that the deceased lay down on the way home and froze.
