I have recently started researching our family tree. I havelittle real knowledge of my father's side of the family as we were not a close knit family and my grandparents were deceased prior to my birth. My family did not really discuss my dad's family and all I really know is that my grandfather was Samuel Ambrose Simons and he married Mary Bertha Sears in Boonville, Missouri. My grandfather passed away in 1935 in Sedalia, Missouri and grandmother passed away in 1955 in Sedalia, Missouri. My great grandfather was listed as Jacob on the death certificate and mother was Katherine and no maiden name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
