Sacagawea is not Powhantan as far as I know. I think the Shoshone Indians of Idaho would also beg to differ. She was stolen as a young girl and taken from her tribe the "Snake River" Shoshone by the a tribe in the Dakotas who are Hidatsa, their language is related to Crow. The members of the expedition met her in the Dakotas while she was with the Hidatsa. Her true brother was the head of the Shoshone tribe in Idaho when she finally found what was left of her family during in the expedition. Not sure if this makes it more clear. There are always interesting theories about peoples ancestry. Many want to be related to Pocahontas in the same way they want to be related to Sacagawea.
