Alexander Simms, Father of Richard Alexander Simms/ Semmes, Fairfax Co, Va.

Looking for any information regarding Alexander Simms/ Semmes b. Abt. 1767,of Faidfax Co.., VA., m. Bathsheba/ (Barsheba/ Beersheba) Follin b. 10-2-1777. He may be the son of William Simms Sr. or Fairfax County and brother of William Simms Jr. Alexander and Bathsheba had 8 children: Samuel Catlett, Alfred Follin, Richard Alexander, Isaiah Wingfield, Matilda Whitney, Alonzo Smith, William Douglas (goes by Douglas),& Thomas Simms. Alexander probably died just prior to 1814 because Bathsheba bound out 4 sons(Richard, Alonzo,Isaiah & William D.) as apprentices after his death. We are trying to get a clear link to William Sr. or find out who Alexander's ancestors are.
