I have been doing research on my Myers McIntyre family of Pittsburgh. Col Andrew McIntyre was appointed Burgess or Mayor of Pittsburgh by George Washinging under Marshal Law during the Whiskey Rebellion. He is my ggggrandfather. His gggrandson Caption John W McIntyre my great uncle is married Hanna Sharp and he is buried in the Simms and Douglas lot in Mckeesport Pittsburgh area. John McIntyre was a riverboat caption born 1836 and died 1903.

I understand Col Simms surved under Gen Rogers Clark in Pittsburgh so I believe this is the same family. I also may have descendents of Ann Alexander and Fielding Lewis in the same general location in the Dunseith and Lewis lot. I understand Alexandria Va was named after this Alexander family and Col Simms was Mayor of Alexandria Va.
