Hi Jeanne. The Simms book I have does apply to the Waggoners and Pickerell's. The information I have on Susan's death is that she died July 1897. I have several Pickerell's mentioned in my book. I'm from the Henry "Bob" Sims side from Wirt co, W.Va. which is on the Waggoner side.
Yes, John was Martin's father and he was crippled by falling off a horse. I didn't know that he tried to get War pension by pretending that he got hurt in the war. That is interesting.
What other people do you want me to look up?
I live close to my ancestors. I live in Ohio but only 1 hr from Wirt county, W.Va Most of my relatives were from there and buried there. I'm related to the Sims and Shepperds, so I guess we would be related only by marriage.
