Simms was born about July 1869 in Washington County, Kentucky. He had 2 sisters one Full who was my GGrandmother Sallie Ann who married Charles B. Janes, and also a half sister Lydia Margaret Humphrey. Their Parents were Benjamin F. Simms and Ruth C. Lanham who died in 1876. I have a couple of pictures of "Uncle Willie".
