Please tell me if Simms is ever pronounced SEAMS. I am looking for my husband's grandmother and her name was pronounced "Seams". She was from Germany, but that spellilng is not a German spelling of the name. Could be Sims, Simms, or Zimms from what I understand. Can anyone shed any light on this?
