My grandfather was William Lester Simms, he was born in West Plains Mo. in 1905. His father died young, 35, and my grandfather joined the Marines and never went back west. We don't know much about his father's family except that his grandparents owned a store in Mo. somewhere, we think Springfield. His father's name was Arthur Albert or Alvern Simms. If anyone reconizes anything please let me know.
