Thank you very much! This is really helpful. I had seen several references to Camellia Elam, but had assumed based on the circumstantial evidence (I didn't list it all) that Camellia Shafer had been previously married to an Elam. This information suggests that is unlikely.
I had not realized that William and Camellia ever lived in Pope County, AR. David Shafer Simmons lived most of his adult life in southern Newton County, the next County North of Pope.
