My great-grandfather came to the U.S. around 1910-1911 with his mother and became a Butler for Richard Mellon. Some in my family said he brought them to Pittsburgh to to work for him. My grand father always said Charles and his mother were very vauge about his up bring witch leads us to believe he might have had a very megear childhood. I also heard that at his mothers house, at noon every day, the shadow of two bridges would cover her house. Don't know if that will help but maybe. Anyone with any help would be greatly apprecieated. My family really knows nothing about him and we would love to know.
