I have found a book entitled "Little Stories of Germany" in a local antique store inscribed "Jack Silverwood from Mother, Christmas 1909".

On the other side, it says "Jack, I have this to give you from your mother. Santa Claus"

Let me know if you are interested and I will either get it for you or put you in touch with the shop.
