I'm wondering if anyone has information about this branch: Abraham Silverstein, married to Rebecca Kahn Silverstein, lived in Lazhday, Lithuania (about 50 miles from Vilna) around the 1880's. Their son, Alexander Philip, is my great-grandfather, who settled in Charleston, W.Va. I know the West Virginia branch of the family, but there may be other Silversteins from this line. Abraham and Rebecca emigrated and are buried in Cincinnati.
Also, does anyone know anything about the village of Lazhday?
