I am looking for information on the Silvers from Pendleton IN who came from Warren Co (or the City of Warren) OH. Samuel Silver (1809) and Mary Bates had children: Charles (my great great grandfather..born in Warren City OH) John, Oscar, Joseph, Walter. Charles born 1853 married Amanda Cottrell and had Eve, Oscar, Ward, Mae, Charles, Frankd, Mildred, and Lottie (my great Grandmother).
My curiousity is to prove a link or disprove a link to the Thomas and William Silver families. Thomas and William (born 1795 and 1805) are from Ohio and came to Pendleton IN as some of the first pioneers of the city. I know Charles came to Pendleton and built the "Silver Home" near the Grovelawn Cemetery. It seems to me that if Thomas and William came to Pendleton in the 1830 and my family was there in 1860s that there is a good chance that there is a connection some how.
