John Silver of Norwich, Norfolk, England, d. 1603

I am looking for descendants of John Silver (or Sylver) of Norwich, granted a coat of arms in 1588 for his contribution of 25 pounds sterling for the defense of Norfolk during the Spanish Armada. He married Thomazine Playter of Sotterley, Suffolk. They had three daughters, Thomazine, Sibil, and Martha, and one son, William. Does anyone know if William lived to adulthood and had any children? I am descended from the Silveys of Norwich, and they supposedly came from the Silver line. Just trying to verify if this "family legend" has any credibility.
