Manuel C. Silva (Sylvia) born 1886 in Providence, R.I. Left New Bedford, MA. on a whaling ship, and got off in the Azores. He met Agatha perriera (Perry) and they married. She was born in Fayal. I don't know if they married there, or when she came to the states. Also trying to find ship she came on, and what port. They lived in New Bedford, MA. Three children Oldest was Miculina, Philomena(Fannie) and Antone( Tony). My mother was Philomena, and she married John A. Francis Dec. 1, 1928. Any information will be helpful.....Rosemarie Bishop
