Looking for any and all Info on Luis/Louis Domingo Silva (my great grandfather) who married Emilianna Guara of Taos,New Mexico. One of his sons (Fernando) is my grandfather who married Pheobe Bell Kreeger of Trinidad,Colorado. I think Luis Domingo was from New Mexico.I have a Translation of a "Silva Diary" dated July 20,1859 written by Juan Bautista Silva, who trveled with his brother "Alcadio" and other families looking for a new home. They settled in a place named "La Loma de San Jose" in New Mexico. Not sure if this "Diary" is authentic or legend. Does this ring a bell for anyone????????
